Bev Picton is a well-respected learning and development professional with extensive knowledge in developing training programs for technical and professional proficiencies. Bev has a Bachelor of Arts, with expertise in adult education, management, and psychology. She is a seasoned Senior Manager, knowledgeable in offering advanced planning, problem-solving, presentation techniques, and strategic assessment tools. Bev started her aviation and aerospace career over twenty-two years ago as one of the first Metis females to receive funding to become a Gas Turbine Repair and Overhaul technician. She is intent on helping companies meet regulatory compliance requirements and has been on several committees including a committee for labour shortage discussions. In her L&D career she oversaw the successful implementation of an apprenticeship training program with over 200 graduates. Bev has a keen interest in integrating modern technologies, methodologies and just-in-time learning tools to increase the ability to attract new talent and upskill seasoned learners.
