Benoit Breault joined Bombardier in 2008 as Manager of Project Engineering; Challenger programs and was later appointed as the Director of Project Engineering for the pioneering Global 7500 long-range business jet where he led several engineering teams from critical design reviews through to the first flight of all flight test vehicles and ultimately to type certification by Transport Canada, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. In 2019, Benoit was appointed as Director, Research and Technology at Bombardier with responsibilities for defining and managing Bombardier's portfolio of industrial and academic research projects in aircraft technologies.


Benoit is a member of the Board of Directors at several key aviation research organizations including the Consortium de Recherche et d'Innovation en AƩrospatiale du QuƩbec, and the Centre of Excellence for Drones in Alma.
